Today is December 31, 2023, the last day of the year. It's New Year's Eve! Tonight, I had an amazing time celebrating with my family and friends. Allow me to share the highlights of this exciting night.

In the afternoon, we gathered at my grandparents' house for a traditional Chinese New Year's Eve dinner. The dining table was filled with delicious dishes, such as dumplings, fish, and sticky rice cakes. We enjoyed the meal together, laughing and chatting, while savoring the mouthwatering flavors. It was a heartwarming and joyful gathering.

After the dinner, we decided to go to the city's central square for the New Year countdown party. The square was adorned with colorful lights and decorations, creating a festive atmosphere. Excited chatter filled the air as people eagerly awaited the arrival of the new year.
