春节的英语日记 A Diary of Chinese New Year

今天是春节，全家人都很兴奋。早上爸爸和妈妈一起带我去庙里拜神，祈求来年平安吉祥。庙里香烟缭绕，人们摆满了鲜花和水果，神像上挂着红红的灯笼。我跪在爸爸妈妈旁边，虔诚地向神佛祷告。

回到家后，我们一起忙着准备年夜饭。爸爸煮了一锅美味的鱼，象征着年年有余。妈妈做了许多好吃的小菜，全部都是我们最喜欢的口味。我也帮忙摆放桌子，洗碗筷。

晚上，我们坐在一起观看春节晚会。我喜欢舞狮表演和杂技表演。每当烟花绽放，我就忍不住欢呼雀跃起来。爸爸给我们每人发了压岁钱，我高兴地把压岁钱放进红包里。

这是一个快乐的春节，我很荣幸能和家人一起庆祝。我希望大家都能有一个幸福、健康的新年。

Today is Chinese New Year, and my family is very excited. In the morning, my parents took me to the temple to pray for a peaceful and auspicious new year. The temple was filled with incense, flowers, and fruits. Red lanterns were hanging on the statues. I knelt beside my parents and prayed sincerely to the gods.

After returning home, we all helped prepare the New Year's Eve dinner. My dad cooked a delicious fish, symbolizing abundance and surplus every year. My mom made many tasty side dishes, all our favorite flavors. I also helped set the table and wash the dishes.

In the evening, we sat together watching the Chinese New Year gala on TV. I enjoyed the lion dance and acrobatic performances. Every time fireworks lit up the sky, I couldn't help but cheer and leap with joy. My dad gave each of us lucky money, and I happily put it in red envelopes.

It was a joyful Chinese New Year, and I felt honored to celebrate it with my family. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy new year.
